Course Description: Learn to teach unconventionally to meet the diverse needs of learners through a flipped classroom learning model. This course teaches the concept of the educator transforming into the role of supporting students in learning that meets each individual learner exactly where they are. Learning activities in this course include lesson plan templates and at the end of this three-session course, students will produce a flipped model lesson plan. Interacting activities together in small groups.
Day 1 of the Flipped classroom
Introduction to the concept of what a flipped classroom is, and goals for the 3-part course. Show examples, and breakout sessions for developing ideas for a flipped lesson. Go over the template and start to begin planning for the lesson
