Prerequisite

Before beginning the GED Preparation Online course, it is recommended that students have a basic understanding of the following:

  1. Reading and Writing Skills

    • Ability to comprehend and summarize basic texts.
    • Basic grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  2. Mathematical Foundations

    • Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Understanding of fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  3. General Knowledge in Science and Social Studies

    • Understanding of major historical events and governmental structures.

Module 4: Social Studies Introduction: The Social Studies module will deepen your knowledge of history, government, economics, and geography. The module also covers basic economic principles and geographic concepts, helping you understand how societies function and interact globally. With a focus on critical thinking and analysis, this module prepares you to answer questions about past and present social issues, enabling you to tackle the GED Social Studies section with a well-rounded perspective on human society.
